Abstract:

The monograph presents the theoretical foundations of design and research results of impellers, diffusers, and return channels of centrifugal compressors, discusses the basic principles of modeling viscous spatial fluid flows, and given the main equations used to perform gasdynamic calculations of turbomachines. Original methods of designing elements of the flow parts of turbomachines are presented, which ensure an increase in the efficiency of these machines. The results of numerical and experimental studies of gas flow in the flow parts of centrifugal compressors are given. The information provided in the monograph has a high scientific level and is of practical interest.

The monograph is intended for scientists, engineers engaged in the research and design of centrifugal compressors, as well as for graduate students.
