Abstract:

The monograph describes the problem of creating biologically active polyurethane compositions capable of stimulating bone tissue regeneration with prolonged release of drug and biologically active substances for use as bone tissue implants. Experimental data of biologically active polymer composite materials based on urethane-containing polymer carriers mesh structure including epoxy polyurethanes are given. Attention is paid to solving the problem of surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery by increasing the effectiveness of surgical treatment when using fixing structures for osteosynthesis based on biodegradable epoxy-polyurethane composite material of bioactive action. The question of the prospects of creating new implant materials based on fumaratecontaining epoxy-polyurethane composite materials filled with ferrocene is considered.
Intended for scientists and doctors working in the field of creation and introduction of biologically active polymer materials in medicine.
